Whew! It has been a long time since we reached out and let the world know what we’ve been working on (which is A LOT). Here are few highlights:
NEW NAME: For a while now we have been dying to drop the ‘(in)Motion’ from our name. It felt cumbersome and unnecessarily descriptive – plus, parenthesis are so 2008. Along with that change we commissioned a new logo from Tori Lawrence:
And created a new website www.reallivepeople.org
NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR: The seriously lovely and multi-talented Sara Nye has become the official Managing Director of RealLivePeople – but don’t worry, you’ll still see her incredible moves on stage in our next big project (more on that later).

NEW ADVISORY BOARD: For the past year I have been having conversations with all kinds of people, colleagues/funders/ArtistsU, about the benefits of having a supportive board that challenges the company to state clear goals and really achieve them. After careful deliberation dancer Adams Berzins finally said, “Can you start a board so I can be on it already?” And thus, a few months later, we had our first meeting, which turned into our second and has already completely changed the way that I view RealLivePeople and my role in it.
