We’re getting geared up to perform a new version of The Third Shift, a site-specific dance we created in 2012 for a warehouse in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia. The original piece was based in-part on the book “Vanishing Mills, Vanishing Neighborhoods” by Jean Seder. The revised version of the piece is being performed in Baltimore, MD on September 12 as part of the Akimbo Site Specific Festival. For this new iteration we are incorporating the history of our site, now part of MICA (Maryland Institute College of Art), and working with a new cast.
